Mr. Leslie Lupert is a senior partner who is well known for complex commercial litigation, securities and banking cases, international disputes, and the defense of white-collar crime. He has tried many cases, included a recent month-long case for Israel’s largest manufacturer of large appliances. He has had recent wins after trial for the CEO of a Fortune 500 company in a multimillion-dollar contract dispute and for Wal-Mart’s largest supplier of small appliances. He has tried Lanham Act cases, estate-related litigations and a wide variety of complex commercial disputes throughout the United States. His arbitration experience is both national and international, and his experience in criminal cases is broad, including bank fraud, embezzlement, insider trading and a host of other matters. He has also represented numerous individuals and companies in criminal and SEC investigations who were never indicted or sued.

Mr. Lupert has published in the fields of securities law, tax law and accounting, the latter together with the senior partner of a well-known accounting firm, and he has taught in continuing legal education courses

He was in charge of an important pro bono disabilities rights case that made law in the U.S. Second Circuit, has served on the federal courts, federal legislation and ethics committees of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York, and has devoted significant time during his career to public interest activities.

Mr. Lupert is a magna cum laude graduate of Columbia Law School ranking in the top six of his class and a Phi Beta Kappa, magna cum laude graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo. He is listed in Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in the World, Who’s Who in American Law and similar directories. He and his wife, the former Roberta Fellner, who works at Barnard College, have three daughters, one a former prosecutor, the second a teacher and the third who helps run a nonprofit organization.
